I think the whole issue is being blown out of proportion by the media as a way to create havoc by both sides. I think the guy got confused and misspoke what he was actually trying to say.

bdc: I agree. I admire the guy for standing up to the R. big-wigs and all the know-it-all pundits and staying in the race. It's not like he was staining a blue dress of an intern, or getting a girl drowned, or looking for homosexual love in a public bathroom, or stealing large sums from public funds. If the Ds want to use a "war on women" strategy in his Senate race, good luck with that one.

Jobs and job security are the most important concerns of the tax-paying voters. If your income is from some other source than work, you'll probably vote for the candidate who will promise to protect, even increase, the size of your government check.
THE ONLY REASON
TO BE AGAINST VOTER ID
IS IF YOU SUPPORT VOTER FRAUD.

Columnist Mona Charen starts out bashing Akin, but then includes another way of looking at his gaffe, along the way saying something interesting about testosterone. http://townhall.com/columnists/monachar ... s_critics/

As it turns out, the rape of Norma McCorvey that led to Roe vs Wade could be called an, "illegitimate rape." The facts are that the rape/pregnancy that led to the lawsuit never happened. She was pressured by abortion activists to mis-state the facts order to bolster their case.
