Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York City

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York City

Postby Kingsman » Wed Jan 01, 2014 3:18 pm

A thread to shine a light on perhaps the most left-leaning big-city mayor in the U. S. He may even be more of a narcissist than Obama--based on his scene-stealing at a White House meeting a couple of weeks ago for a dozen big-city mayors. A portion of his swearing-in speech: "Today we commit to a progressive direction in New York. And the same progressive implulse has written our city's history. It's in our DNA." Let the fun begin.

NYC's snow storm met with de Blasio's promise of equal distribution of snow removal assets in all areas of the city. Call it "walking the talk." Triumphant media conference to follow.

I won't set foot in New York and I can't wait until he tries to get Wall St. to "share." :hand:
