Going Nuclear...What To Do

I go in this morning for treatment of thyroid cancer. I get one dose of radioactive iodine. The question is "Should I go to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago for dinner afterwards? I hear HSA has a sphincter cramp if the radiation alarm goes off?

Its been a tough year for me health wise but I've plugged on through it. I won't bore you with the details. I know some are facing much more difficult problems than I'm having. I'm not particularly a religious person, more of a mild spirituality. So some good thoughts my way are appreciated. My attitude is "It can always be worse, so I'm grateful for what I have".
