Don't know if this counts as a review, more of a warning.
I love cheap chinese buffets. Its a guilty pleasure. When the Hibachi opened on 31 and Ironwood, I loved it, I went like 4 or 5 times. Then recently I went, and felt a little ill afterwards. Then this weekend my girlfriend went, and she was violently ill.
Now theres a sign that its closed down by the health department citing multiple warnings.
Yikes.

it was an old Blockbuster Video location, southwest corner of 31 & Ireland.

Why is it that asian restaurants have such a hard time complying with health department codes?? Are they culturally a dirty people? I didn't think that was the case, but it seems there is an overabundance of asian restaurants that get shut down for health violations.

Actually, King Gyros, for example, has received more than one perfect health inspection award, which they display proudly for all to see from the counter. I love King Gyros. And FYI, Hibachi Grill is located at the corner of U.S. 31 South and Ireland Rd (not Ironwood), and it was formerly a Hollywood Video, not Blockbuster.
And I heard they already are wanting to open a second Hibachi Grill in the old Circuit City location on Grape.

It is already well under construction, although I'm not sure they have all the old Circuit City location.
