Decent Car Stereo Places?

Postby Xenokilla » Sun Apr 06, 2014 2:35 pm

I don't need anything fancy, just a new head unit in my Maxima. I head that place on Logan and Edison is pretty good, anyone have any other suggestions?

I'd think the best folks to ask are those who have spent tons of money customizing their vehicles. They are not hard to find, just look for the expensive rims and tires and listen for the boom boom of the sound system. If they are cranking over 130 db, then chat them up a bit, they'll tell you where to go.

Another source might be the cops who are on patrol. They always seem to know what is going on when I talk to them.

Can't think of the name, but there is a place just north of Brick Road on 933. They have been in business for 10-15 years which says something about their quality.

WOLFIE'S TAPE TOWN on South Main Street installed my 8-track tape player and CB radio. I would highly recommend them.

I talked to the guys at Stereo Specialist (the place on logan behind the pizza hut). They said for the install of a head unit, 2 door speakers and 2 rear deck lid speakers would be around $150. That is if i buy all the parts myself. Not bad!
