The Victory of Politics Over Sound Economics

This article associates recovery with growth. The case is laid that our economy lacks growth. Its concluding point is that recovery will follow a return to growth.

Obamanomics have not worked. As politics have corrupted science – and the science of climate in particular – so has politics corrupted economics. Liberals and Progressives knew from historical experience that the impoverished are easy to control. And policy for at least the last 7.8 years has been all about control. High taxation in concert with quantitative easing has harmed the population at both ends of the economic spectrum, even squeezing the center – the “Middle Class”.

Quantitative Easing included the digital “creation” (replacing traditional “printing”) of $80 Billion per month. With simple arithmetic, that is $1 Trillion per year. Too much money chasing too few of goods and services results in inflation. Economic enslavement can be created by decreasing everyone’s purchasing power via inflation.

When folks total their taxes from ALL sources, does anyone include the forced taxation of inflation ? I seriously doubt it !

For the last several years, growth has been purposely slowed with the victory of politics over common sense economic policy and practice. That explains giving home loans to millions who had no means to pay back.

“The wicked borrow and do not repay.” Psalms 37:21

The shocking reality is a government borrowing, with no plan nor intent to repay.
