Always seems to be between 300E and I94.
Slowing the speed limit down to 45 won't fix the problem. 90 mph closure rate for any head on collision will almost certainly result in a fatality.

I'm thinking it's time for a temporary concrete divider until a true grass median can be built.

Seriously, Ray? All three head-on fatal crashes on US20 (between 300E and just west of Fail Rd.) since January 18 were caused by DRIVER ERROR (crossing the center line) not the road itself. Paul Borkowski likely fell asleep at the wheel on his way to work in Michigan City. Concrete dividers and/or grassy medians were designed for limited access highways like the US31/20 bypass. Four-lane roads such as US20 only require attentive, conscientious motorists to prevent grisly fatalities. Hey, maybe that stretch of US20 should be converted into a 2 lane Smart Street?

Other roads have similar set ups, but not near the fatality rate.
Heck, Cleveland Rd from 933 to Riverside has a guard rail to prevent such accidents.
